Some Hoboken residents are saying that they won't let the city wash out their partying even though officials have canceled the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Some Hobokenites are now planning an event called Lepre-Con. The organizer, Jamie Darrah, tells News 12 New Jersey, "It is called Hoboken Lepre-Con and it's just a day in response to the parade being canceled and to bring people together and organized."
Lepre-Con's website invites participants to dress up as a leprechaun and come to Hoboken, enjoy the city and celebrate its tradition of being a party town while being responsible.
