Hoboken police seek persons of interest in attempted carjacking

Police say the crime happened around 3:20 p.m. on March 27. They say it happened on the 100 block of River Street.

Hoboken police seek persons of interest in attempted carjacking
Hoboken police are asking the public for help identifying two persons of interest related to an attempted carjacking that happened in the city.
Police say the crime happened around 3:20 p.m. on March 27. They say it happened on the 100 block of River Street.
Hoboken officials say one of the individuals entered an unlocked 2020 Range Rover and struck the victim in the face. That person was then seen running away from the scene with another person. Both were then seen getting onto a PATH train.
The victim was treated for minor injuries.
Hoboken police have released photos of the individuals they are looking for. Anyone who recognizes them is urged to contact Detective John Quinones at Quinonesj@hobokenpdnj.gov or 201-420-2100 ext. 3182.
