A Hoboken woman was arrested Sunday in connection with a brazen stabbing in Midtown Manhattan.

Police say a woman was walking in front of 8th Avenue Friday when Ola Albanni, 65, approached her and slashed the woman in the face with a knife before fleeing on foot. They say the incident happened around 6 p.m.

Albanni has been charged with assault and possession of a weapon.
