Hoboken residents are getting a first look at their future summer oasis – a public community pool.

Mayor Rsvi Bhalla said residents have been asking for a public pool for a while now.

The plan is to transform the Multi-Service Center on Grand Street into a state-of-the-art rec center. It will feature a pool, gym, day care, café, a new senior center and more. The design has not been finalized yet.
