Monday?s snowfall meant one thing for plow truck operators: dollar signs.
?We haven?t had a snowstorm like this in four years,? says Jerry Ottavi, who plows and also runs Ottavi Construction. ?It?s great ? I?m excited.?
Plow operators say they can pull in more than $500 for plowing a movie theatre-sized parking lot over a matter of hours. For many, plowing is a side business and the heavy demand made for a nice influx of cash with the shaky economy.
?We welcome the snow," says Ottavi.
