A Jewish community in Edison faced a hate crime Saturday at a children's playground.
A playground at Paterniti Park was defaced with several spray-painted swastikas and an anti-Semitic phrase. Police quickly covered up the writing and beefed up patrols to help prevent another incident.
This is the third time since September that Edison has seen a bias crime against the Jewish community.
Police believe teenagers may be to blame for the playground incident.
