A harp seal is receiving treatment at the Marine Mammal Stranding Center after being found sick and dehydrated on Brant Beach in Ocean County.
The seal was seen resting in the sand on Friday and had begun eating sand, mistaking it for snow.
According to the center, the seal is doing okay in the ICU and is receiving treatment.
