Hamilton held a Veterans Day ceremony Saturday to honor heroes with a new memorial called “the fallen memorial.”
The memorial, created by the Hamilton Township Patriotic Committee, is dedicated to Hamilton residents who made sacrifices from all wars.
“So we had to raise funds, and then after seven years, the collimation is finding 85 Hamiltonians who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in one spot, brothers in arms together, so that you’re not forgot forgotten,” said retired Col. Bob Watson, the president of Hamilton Township Patriotic Committee.
The memorial is open to all residents in Veterans Park.
