Three Ventnor police officers will not face any criminal charges in the deadly shooting of a Pennsylvania man.
A state grand jury voted not to charge Officers Michael Arena, Pierluigi Mancuso and Robert Scarborough in the August 2020 death of 30-year-old Amir Johnson.
Prosecutors say Ventnor police were called to Wellington and West End avenues for reports of a man behaving erratically. The officers shot Johnson after he approached them with a broken bottle and refused their commands to drop it.
