An Ocean County grand jury has indicted a Monroe Township man for the murder of his 6-year-old son, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced.

yesterdayAn Ocean County grand jury has indicted a Monroe Township man for the murder of his 6-year-old son, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced.
Christopher Gregor, 30, was charged with murder and endangering the welfare of a child. The boy, identified only as C.M., died in April 2021.
Authorities say that the child died from blunt force trauma. They say that Gregor abused the boy on March 20. He allegedly forced the child to run on a treadmill even after he fell off.
Gregor was initially only charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The charges were upgraded in March 2022 after the manner of death was determined to be homicide.
Gregor has been held at the Ocean County Jail since he was arrested
