Gov. Phil Murphy says that a video posted on social media showing him getting booed at a concert does not tell the whole story.
The governor was in Red Bank this weekend for a performance of Brian Kirk and the Jirks.
The crowd could be heard booing when Murphy was asked to come up on stage. That video was posted on social media.

“Let me say this - having been there, a buddy of mine was playing, and he coaxed me to come up on stage, which I wasn't wild about doing. I think what you've seen on the internet is a little skewed in terms of the actual reaction. We actually got through a whole song and the place was rocking pretty good,” Murphy said.
The video was first reported on by the conservative blog “Save Jersey."
