Gov. Murphy signing order to allow chartered boat services to resume starting Sunday
Gov. Phil Murphy held a briefing Saturday with the latest on the COVID-19 outbreak in New Jersey.
BRIEFING NOTES: 
-Gov. Phil Murphy announces that he's signing an executive order to allow chartered boat services and other water charter services including fishing and water rentals, may resume, effective 6 a.m. tomorrow. He says social distancing must be observed, with sanitation rules in place, and passenger/customer logs must be preserved. 
-Murphy discussed the latest numbers on hospitalizations and infections in New Jersey, noting the mostly positive trends.
-Murphy thanked President Trump for the $1.4 billion in funding that's coming to NJ Transit. He says the agency will need more funding but it's a step in the right direction.
-Murphy says the $3 trillion COVID-19 relief bill passed by the House last night includes vital support needed across the state to support responders, educators and more.  He says without direct funding the state's recovery and progress could be hampered without draconian cuts.
-On daily numbers: there are 115 new COVID deaths in New Jersey in the last 24 hours, for a total of 10,249. Murphy announces 1,239 new positive test results, bringing the statewide total to 145,089.
