A major Republican super PAC is no longer spending money to support Rep. Tom Kean Jr.'s re-election campaign in New Jersey's 7th Congressional District.

According to a source who spoke with News 12, the group is reallocating $10 million from Kean's race and three other congressional contests.

The move comes just weeks before the midterm elections and as control of the U.S. House remains up for grabs.

Kean is seeking another term in Congress and is facing Democratic challenger Rebecca Bennett.

A recent poll shows Bennett holding a five-point lead over Kean.
