GoFundMe says donations in an alleged scam fundraiser of a homeless man have been returned.
In a statement Monday, the crowd funding site wrote that all donors were fully refunded.
People donated more than $400,000 to a campaign that hinged on a story of a homeless man who helped a stranded driver in Pennslyvania last year. Prosecutors say the story was a scam.
The homeless man, Johnny Bobbitt Jr., the supposed motorist Kate McClureand and her boyfriend, Mark D'Amico were charged with theft and conspiracy.
They have all pleaded not guilty.
