The New Jersey Forest Fire Service says the
Glory wildfire in Jackson that started Tuesday reached 100% containment Wednesday afternoon. They say the fire burned 82 acres in the area of East Commodore Boulevard and Cedar Swamp Road.
Fire crews worked overnight setting controlled burns to keep it contained.
On Tuesday, 30 residential structures were threatened by the fire. Structure protection was provided by local fire companies, the forest fire service says.
The cause of the wildfire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
