It was a somber morning Thursday as friends, family members and colleagues attended the funeral of a Perth Amboy EMS worker.
Friends say 51-year-old Joseph Murawski died doing what he loved. The paramedic and volunteer firefighter went into cardiac arrest after treating a car accident victim Sunday.
?I guess it was how it was meant to be. He was doing something he loved to do and it was his final call,? Murawski?s friend said.
A moment of silence was held outside Raritan Bay Medical for Murawski as the funeral possession went past.
Murawski is survived by his wife and daughter.
