Hundreds gathered in Israel over
the weekend to mourn a
teenager from New Jersey who was killed in a stampede at
a religious festival last week.
Daniel Morris, a 19-year-old
who is from Bergenfield, was one of 45 people killed in what was the worst
civil disaster in the country's history.
"My special, sweet and wholesome
bechor,” says his mother, Mirlana Morris. “I have so many questions, but little
to no answers, but what I do know for sure is you were loved by so many."
The
festival had drawn about 100,000 people, most of whom are ultra-orthodox Jews.
