Funeral details released for slain Cumberland County detective

Funeral details for a slain South Jersey police officer have been released.
Detective Sgt. Monica Mosley was shot and killed during a home invasion Tuesday night. Mosely spent almost 20 years working for the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
A viewing will be held Saturday, Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Bridgeton High School. A funeral service will follow from 10 a.m. until noon at the high school. The burial will take place from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Officials say that Mosely was killed just before 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 15. Several people were reportedly kicking down the front door or a home on Buckshutem Road in Bridgeton. Police say Mosley was found dead inside.
Police are said to be questioning some persons of interest, but no arrests have been announced.
