French bulldog Zushi found safe in Selden

Long Island has learned a 3-month-old French bulldog stolen from a Bay Shore
home has been found safe.
Zushi was
taken from the home in Bay Shore during a burglary on Saturday night.
Zushi was
spotted being let out of a car on Middle Country Road in Selden. The person then dropped off Zushi at an animal emergency
service center in Coram.
News 12 has learned the vet and the service center contacted the family via the microchip and they
picked the dog up.
One French
bulldog breeder tells News 12 the breed is highly valuable – making them a target for
theft.
Another French
bulldog that was stolen from a Huntington home was found the same
day Zushi was taken.
There is
no word on if the thefts were related.
