A 24-year-old man accused of stealing a package worth thousands of dollars was arrested.

Police say German Gomez Mendez, of Pennsauken, was caught on video taking a package last week from a home in Franklin Township shortly after a FedEx delivery. The package contained more than $4,000 in electronic devices, according to police.

Gomez Mendez was taken to police headquarters on Wednesday. Authorities say he admitted to taking the package, and he was later released pending a court date. He was charged with third degree theft.
