A holiday tradition has caught the attention of police.
Days after a lighting celebration in Franklin Township, a Christmas tree was found ruined on Monday night.
Police posted pictures of the tree on Facebook, and it appears someone broke the tree from its base and left the tree by a lake.
Police say there is zero tolerance for vandalism. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward and email tips anonymously to crimetips@franklintownship.com.
