A former Tenafly police officer will serve 11 years in prison for shooting and killing his husband.

Joseph Grieco, 44, was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter after he had been drinking, came home, and began handling a loaded gun, accidentally shooting his husband in the stomach.

The incident took place in July 2023.
