A former New Jersey congressman is among a group of 11 Jewish politicians who are voicing their support for President Barack Obama's Iran nuclear deal.
Former New Jersey Rep. Steven Rothman says that the deal is the best way to preserve the United States' military and diplomatic options.
"This is America's, the world's and the state of Israel's best chance to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon," he says.
Other supporters include former Michigan Sen. Carl Levin and former Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank. The former politicians took out a full page ad in Thursday's New York Times to show their support.
