A former New York Jets linebacker has pleaded guilty to three charges in connection with an incident that invoked New Jersey's 'revenge porn' law.
Jermaine Cunningham is expected to be sentenced to probation next month.
At a hearing in state Superior Court in Elizabeth on Wednesday, Cunningham pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy, illegal transport of a weapon and possession of hollow-point bullets.
Authorities have said the charges stem from a domestic dispute at a residence in Summit on Dec. 29. A loaded handgun was found in Cunningham's car.
An investigation revealed that Cunningham had posted a racy photo of his estranged girlfriend online without her consent.
The 26-year-old Cunningham is an NFL free agent who was with the Jets last year.
