A report from Fix Our Parks NJ says underfunding has led to the parks' neglect and abuse.
The parks have also had a 28% drop in staffing since 2006.
The group says more funding from the state's Department of Environmental Protection, staffing increases and help from volunteers can help revitalize the parks.
