The countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026 has reached an exciting milestone, with FIFA officially announcing that the first phase of ticket sales will open next week.
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 10, fans will have the chance to participate in the Visa Presale Draw, marking the very first opportunity to secure seats for the historic tournament. Tickets for group stage matches will start at $60, with sales kicking off at 11 a.m. This initial phase will remain open until 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19.
"This marks a momentous milestone as we build up to this historic event, and we look forward to millions of fans joining us in North America next June," said Heimo Schirgi, chief operating officer of FIFA World Cup 2026. While entry-level tickets are priced to make the tournament widely accessible, premium seating options for the most in-demand matches come with a hefty price tag. The most exclusive tickets for the final are set to reach up to $6,730, offering fans a front-row seat to the ultimate showdown where the world's two best national teams will battle for the iconic FIFA World Cup trophy.
