Eager fans lined up at Dodger?s Stadium in Los Angeles Monday to pick up tickets for Michael Jackson?s public memorial service.

More than 1.6 million people registered online for the exclusive free tickets, but only 17,500 tickets were handed out. Those lucky enough to be picked were notified by e-mail on Sunday. Tickets have popped up on eBay for a steep price, but site administrators are removing those listings.

Tuesday?s ceremony at the Staples Center is expected to shut down streets all over downtown Los Angeles. Police say they?re trying to keep out the tens of thousands of fans who could show up without tickets.
