The family and friends of a young Essex County woman are mourning after her death in a Pennsylvania crash.
Natasha Bellot, 20, was killed in a car accident while on her way back from an "American Idol" audition in Philadelphia. Her audition ticket was reportedly still in her pocket. Several other passengers in the car were also injured.
Bellot's fiancé says she did not believe the young singer had been killed.
"Her sister is the one who called me and I yelled at her, screamed at her," says Kali DesRobertes. "Then she had to call me back and reassure me and then I knew."
DesRobertes says Bellot always wanted to be a singer and was a huge Justin Bieber fan. She even had a matching tattoo on her arm.
In honor of Bellot, her friends have created a social media campaign #JustinForTash with the hopes Bieber will reach out and send a personal message.
"He changed [Natasha's] life. She was going through hard, hard times and she looked to him and everything changed," says DesRobertes.
Bellot's friends say they won't know if she made it into the "American Idol" competition until they get back the ticket that was in her pocket. They were expected to get the ticket Tuesday.
