The family of Patrick Allocco and his son is hoping that the pair will soon be home in New Jersey after they were arrested on charges of fraud in Angola over a concert they were promoting.
The pair traveled to the country to promote a show featuring the rapper Nas, but when he failed to show, the pair was out hundreds of thousands of dollars and were arrested for fraud by Angolan authorities.
His wife, Abby Allocco, says she is optimistic that he husband and son will be home soon.
Abby Allocoo says her husband has confirmed most of the money paid up front to Nas has been paid back.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Embassy in Angola is working to secure the release of the pair.
