Rolling up their sleeves and pumping their fists, New Jersey citizens united Wednesday to donate blood in honor of fallen Jersey City Officer Marc DiNardo.
The blood drive was well attended by DiNardo's family, friends and colleagues. Several people from surrounding communities also came to donate.
DiNardo died Tuesday after being shot in the line of duty last Thursday. His viewing is scheduled for Thursday and his funeral is on Friday.
