Fall back into News 12 as we explore downtown Cranford are Lauren des checking out some local businesses and first is a classic French bakery, Lauren. I'm already hungry. Talking about this, this one, I am so excited to show everyone. I've always wanted to come in here, Pierre Deli Macron, but I did deli ma amazing. And these look amazing too. Thank you. Thank you so much. Yeah, today we're gonna present you some of our macaron for the Fall. We have the pumpkin. We have the Elrey Tea El Gray. We have some of Macaron for Halloween with some imprints on the, on the Macaron for the kids like spider web cats. And after we have some cakes too for the holiday, for the holiday and the fall, we have the pumpkin. Yes. It's uh the shape of pumpkin with vanilla mousse, pumpkin and creme brulee inside an apple. After we have the pecan chocolate too. It's for the Fall chocolate with pecan for some spices and we have other stuff like the tiramisu made it with coffee espresso Italian. Amazing one. And we have our signature the delis. It's like dark chocolate mousse. It's our best seller and creme brulee hazelnut inside. And we have other stuff too, like the croissant and the De Venis all is authentic and French made in Cranford and everything is handmade, right? What's your favorite part about being in Cranford? It's more, the community is very nice. It's a very cute town. I will invite everyone to come to Cranford. There's a lot of shops and we are the only French pastry authentic in New Jersey and Cranford. Amazing. P Thank you so much. I think these make great desserts to enjoy and also great gifts too if you're thinking about and most of them, they are dairy free for the Macaron and are all gluten free of people that are gluten free. They can come and try our macaro. That's a, a lot of gluten sensitivities out there. A lot of people want to avoid it too. So amazing. Well, Pierre, thank you so much. Well, the time is 646. Fall back into News 12 as we explore downtown Cranford are Lauren de is checking out some local businesses. And Lauren, you found the perfect breakfast and brunch spot. I did. That is here from Cranford Station house. Hi, good morning. I love how we have News 12 on. By the way, you say you always have it on every day and your family's watching too. You want to say good morning to them? Hi guys. I love you. Well, I feel like we're just, you're not having breakfast this morning. What do you make for us? Uh, we have uh, some of our fall items, our pumpkin churro French toast, our original Churro French toast and our pistachio pancakes. Um, we've rolled them out a couple of weeks ago. Those are fall specials. These are some of our fall specials. Yeah. And so everyone comes here for your dishes. They love all the fresh ingredients that you use. Talk about. You know what menu items you have. We have a lot of menu items over 100 and 80 menu items to be exact. What's your favorite? Can you think of just what off the top? Um I would say my favorite are, are Benedict's. So we have about 12 different varieties. Um And they're all pretty good. And so what are your hours? Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8 to 3 and Saturday and Sunday from 8 to 4. Amazing. This looks like the perfect fall breakfast. And you know how I love about this too is that you have Cranford pictures because we're right across the street from the train station. So what pictures do we have on the wall? So we have a picture of old downtown Cranford. Um probably around 1920 1930. Um We have an old picture of the uh police department. Um A shot of the river. So a lot of Craford pride here, right? What's your favorite part about being in the community? Oh, Craford is incredible. Uh Everyone here is incredible. I always have such a good time when I come down here. All the local businesses are so great. Everyone supports. They're tremendous. So that's awesome. You know what I've been dying to do this morning, cut into those pancakes. So you want to do it for us? You want to cut into the pancakes. You got the knife for us. Here we go. Let's go. This is the money shot. Oh That, that's like I would say that's 4 to 5 inches thick. Fall back into news 12 as we take a look at downtown Cranford this morning. Our Lauren do has been checking out some local businesses and Lauren you're fired up about this next business, huh? I Yeah, you know what it is time to do some activities here. We have Tammy with Fire Me Up studio. This is so exciting. I don't think I've ever done this in my entire life to be honest, but you're saying anyone can do this, anybody can do it. Yeah, no experience necessary. This is great. There's so much going on here. So what are the main activities that you offer here? So we offer um pottery wheel. Obviously we're hot wheel. Um We for all ages from kids classes to adult classes uh to one time classes. Some people come and just do uh a try a class which is great. It's a 90 minute class that um we get to, you know, you get to make one piece on the wheel. It's super fun. Uh We offer it for teens as well as for adults. Um We also do couples nights. So um the ghost, we re we reenact the ghost scenes which is a lot of fun. The one request that we get is that we play the chanted melody song and oh, you have to do that totally. Um Yeah. So from there, you know, we have paint and sips. Uh we offer paint and sips um pretty much every week. Uh pottery painting. You can walk in any time that we're open to do pottery painting. That is really fun. But with the kids too, right? For all ages. I mean, we have, we host, um, a lot of parties for, uh, little kids, the adult or even this is so much fun. Oh, really? Oh, a bachelorette party. That'd be great. Very big with the Bachelorette. Amazing. And you have a lot going on for fall too and they can find all this info on, on your website. Yeah. Fire me up studio.com. Um, you go to our events page. We have a lot of events for the, you know, for the scarecrow stroll. That's our biggest month of the year here in Cranford. So, and what's coming up tonight tonight? We have our Hocus focus night. We're having, um, you know, a pottery painting, a lot of different, um, different, um, options for people to paint. Very witchy. So we're really excited about it, Tammy. This is so much fun. I could sit here all day and do this. This is so much fun. You guys gotta come down. Yeah, totally. Everyone's gotta come down and take a class? I mean, when was the last time you did this, Nick? Back into News 12 this morning we explore downtown Cranford. Our Lauren do is checking out some local businesses. And Lauren, what are you showing us now? Ok. Boo. Did I scare you? This is so cute. This place. Look at these little coffin sponges. We have the town witch here, Chelsea from witch baby. Ok. This is amazing. You started this right in your kitchen. I did. Um you know, I was a new mom. I really wanted to make my own money. Um I had been fired while I was pregnant, so I was kind of salty about going back to work and then this just kind of came together. This is great and these all have like witch powers in them. Right? Yes. So they have different like herbs, crystals. Um Look at this that correspond to the theme of the product. So the point is to make beauty a little more than skin deep. It makes it more spiritual, spiritual, not witchy. There we go. Yes. Yes. Well, we're called witch babies. So we love the word wish. It's like um you know, a reclamation of a term that could have been derogatory towards women at one point in time and now we like own it. All right. Yeah, I love that. You own it. Sunday morning. Yeah, you gotta love that. And you said there's actual like real pumpkin in here. Um, so this one has apple in oh, nice. This one over here has real pumpkin like a, it's like scrubbing yourself with pumpkin pie. What's that one called? Hole? All these names are so much fun. I mean, this is so great people come to you. You've been in business for how many years? 11 years as of Sunday? That's so great. This really is like an attraction to come down and just walk around. Yeah, we get people from all over. Um, we've had people from California come to our store. Um, some people drive up from like Virginia for our launches and like we regularly have New Yorkers coming out. Yeah, there's so much more than just that the body stuff that we went over. This is so much fun. All the horse goes. We could spend like an entire day here. Chelsea. I'm ready for lunch. Totally. Who doesn't want a burger in the morning? And actually, it's kind of like a breakfast burger Rico. Thanks for having us early this morning. You, this place is a vibe like you walk in the lighting, the brick, the pictures. Absolutely. That's what we want. We want to educate our community on the culture, give them an opportunity to put their phones down and really engage with each other and have fun. I mean, even with that said though you're really big on Instagram, everyone knows you on Instagram all the collabs that you're doing and you're doing great. Good. Well, well, we, we wanna, we wanna have fun, you know, um and especially in today's time, you know, we want, we wanna have fun with our neighbors, invite people to come in here and, and, you know, just forget about the stresses that we, we already uh endure in life as it is, you know. So um come to Uber burger and have some fun and have a milkshake too. So, tell us what you made for us this morning. Well, we have our classic, it's been the classic on our menu for so long. This is our continental waffle burger and one of our number one hitters here on the, on the milkshake menu with our Oreo shake and you can do the twist. I love it. Exactly. Wait, also shout out to the cassette wall too. Oh, yes, yes, yes. What are those? It's my personal collection for, I'm not gonna tell my age but for those who know, they know and admire the cassette wall. So it's one of our museum pieces here at Urban Burger. And you're a huge part of the community too. You do a lot of giving back. Right. Yes, we do. Um You can't be part of Cranford and not give back, you know. Um we give, we give back to Cranford because they take good care of us. So um that's the least that we can do every time. I'm in Cranford. I always have a good time. Good vibes.
