While its competitor?s business has come to a screeching halt, one Fair Lawn car dealership is raking it in hand over fist.
The Jack Daniels dealership has been seeing a steady flow of customers despite the struggling economy.
"Right now, KIA seems to be doing very, very well,? says Greg Deieso, director of sales. ?Volkswagen is as well. Both are good, gas mileage-safe vehicles."
The dealership says its biggest business challenge has been reduced lending from banks. Jack Daniels prices haven?t been marked down, but customers are being drawn in by incentives from the makers. Companies like KIA are offering up to $5,000 cash back to make sure their cars don?t end up stuck on the lot.
