A former Mount Laurel police officer who has been accused of hacking into a woman’s social media accounts and distributing nude photos of her is facing additional charges.
The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office says that 22-year-old Ayron Taylor is now accused of illegally accessing the social media and email accounts of 18 additional women, and in some cases distributing their nude photos to people on their contact list.
Authorities say some of the photos were taken when some of the women were minors.
They also say that all of the women had email accounts associated with Rowan College of Burlington County.
Authorities say Taylor became a full-time Mount Laurel police officer after graduating from the police academy in October 2021. They say he sometimes accessed these email accounts illegally while sitting in his patrol car.
Taylor faces 87 new charges, including computer criminal activity and distribution of child pornography.
