Emergency responders in Freehold train for possible crisis
Dozens of emergency responders took part in a disaster drill in Freehold Saturday.
The goal of the drill was to prepare workers and volunteers in the event that a crisis strikes.
The New Jersey Disaster Assistance Team set up a treatment tent to help the Medical Reserve Corps System of New Jersey train with them.
Experts in emergency responding taught participants about safety measures that should be taken during a crisis. Medical and non-medical volunteers then received hands-on experience with some of the equipment inside a field hospital.
