Eagles fans in New Jersey excited for NFC championship win, advancing to Super Bowl

The New Jersey/New York area is a melting pot of fans from all over, and many fans in the area are excited about the Philadelphia Eagles’ NFC championship win.

The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will go head-to-head in the biggest matchup of the year at Super Bowl LVI.
The New Jersey/New York area is a melting pot of fans from all over rooting for a number of sports teams. Most Giants and Jets fans can be found up north while most Eagles fans are down south.
While there may be some friendly rivalry as to who has the better team, there is one thing all New Jersey residents can agree on: Wawa.
News 12 New Jersey’s Ali Reid visited Bordentown Monday morning and later Dick's Sporting Goods where a number of fans are excited about the Eagles’ win. The energy carried over into the streets of Philadelphia last night as well following the Eagles’ win against the San Francisco 49ers, with a final score of 31-7.
It’s been a great year sports-wise for Philadelphia, as the Phillies made it to the World Series.
The last time we saw Philadelphia this electric was back in 2018 for their Super Bowl win against the New England Patriots.
The Super Bowl is two weeks away and in a special twist, two brothers, Eagles center Jason Kelce and Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, will play together on the biggest stage.
The Empire State Building lit up green and then red for both the Eagles and Chiefs Sunday night causing some backlash on social media.
The Eagles play the Chiefs Sunday, Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
