A driver shortage may cause recycling collection in one South Jersey county to be delayed for weeks.
Burlington County says it had multiple drivers leave in May and officials are now scrambling to hire and train additional employees.
Collection in towns such as Willingboro is already more than a week late.
The county says the issue may take weeks to resolve, but some residents say they're understanding.
"I think everybody has a different view on it depending on how big your family is. If you have a bigger family, of course you're pissed off. If you don't have a bigger family, you kind of deal with it," said Lawrence McKissick III, of Willingboro.
County officials say they will continue to post which towns will be picked up on their social media pages and on their website. Residents can also download the Recycle Coach app to find out when pickup will be rescheduled.
