Dress for Success – Berkeley College holds Career Clothing Boutique for students
Berkeley College is making sure students are ready for that next big interview by creating a Career Clothing Boutique at its Newark campus.
All the items are donations from community leaders and local businesses.
Students could grab anything they want from for job interviews and other professional events, including clothes, bags, shoes, jewelry, and even accessories.
"How you look is how you feel,” says Campus Operating Officer Earl Brown. “A lot of our students may not be able to afford some professional clothing, and because of that, they don't go after job opportunities. So now that we have this amazing platform, they can get these clothes for free and keep them. Now they feel much more confident and because of that confidence, they go out for interviews and successfully land jobs."
Berkeley College has a career clothing boutique on all of its campuses.
