A pair of water breaks in Union County made for a slippery Saturday for some New Jersey residents.
According to New Jersey American Water officials, work on a North Stiles Street fire hydrant caused a burst that led to flooding on Linden streets. The company is advising residents to boil water while it shuts the main and cleans the streets.
A second break was also reported on Avenue C, but officials say it is not affecting customers.
New Jersey American Water says residents can contact the customer service line Monday to have insurance adjustors help cover the cost of damages.
