? Commuters who travel the "Spaghetti Bowl" in Wayne may soon see some relief on the highway, but not before more delays.

More than 300,000 drivers pass through the intersection where Routes 23, 46 and 80 meet. Many say the roadway is missing warning signs and lanes are too narrow, forcing drivers to get aggressive and cause bottlenecks. Drivers say they are often discouraged from shopping in the area because they would have to take the route.

The NJ Department of Transportation is adding more signs, lights, lanes and rails to make the intersection safer. DOT officials plan to close the westbound lane of Route 46 for nine months and the eastbound lane for two years. Drivers say although the construction will help in the long run, now they?re faced with even more problems.
