Bloomfield officials say they are looking for the person accused of fatally shooting a dog with an arrow.

Officials say Phoenix was shot with a crossbow. The dog was recovering at the Bloomfield shelter, but the arrow caused respiratory issues and Phoenix died.

The staff at the animal shelter are asking anyone who might have information to contact them or Bloomfield police.
