The remains found inside a sunken car in the Cooper River last year have been identified as a woman from Camden who went missing in July 2010, according to the Camden County Prosecutors Office.

Bernadine Gunner's family reported her missing after she was last seen driving her blue Hyundai and had threatened to take her own life.

The car was recovered from the Pennsauken section of the river almost a year ago, and the remains found inside were sent to DNA labs for identification.
