The company previously known as Payless ShoeSource is set to come back with a new name, after emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January.
The discount shoe retailer announced last week plans to open 500 new stores over the next five years, and will now just be known as Payless, dropping ShoeSource from its title.
There is no word yet on any locations in New Jersey.
The company's first store will open later this year in Miami.
Payless shuttered all 2,300 stores across the country last year after filing for bankruptcy for a second time in less than two years. The company first filed for bankruptcy in April 2017.
