The woman accused of being drunk and biting a flight attendant on a United flight bound for Newark last month has been deported.
United Flight 18, which departed from Italy, had to make an emergency landing in Bangor, Maine. Passengers said at the time that a woman on the flight was drinking heavily and then attacked a flight attendant.

The Department of Homeland Security identified the woman as Kristina Kedysheva of Russia. The agency said she was deported Sept. 29.
“Under President [Donald] Trump and Secretary [Markwayne] Mullin, if you break the law, you will face the consequences,” a DHS spokesperson wrote in a statement.
Kedysheva was initially taken into custody by the FBI and charged with interference with flight crew members and attendants and application of certain criminal laws to acts on aircraft.
