A Demarest high school student is making New Jersey proud by her effort to collect Christmas cards for a Pennsylvania teen battling cancer.
Victoria Rocker is a sophomore at Holy Angels Academy. She has been collecting Christmas Cards for 14-year-old Maddox Hyde of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania. Hyde is dying of cancer and he says that his wish it to get as many Christmas cards as possible.
Rocker says that her family once had a cancer scare, so she knows a little bit of what the teen’s family is going through. So she took it upon herself to collect cards to send to Hyde – dozens of cards.
Anyone who may wish to send Maddox Hyde a card can do so by mailing: 333 Ohio St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
