Local pharmacies are prioritizing COVID-19 vaccine appointments for teachers and child care workers.
CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid are all putting teachers and child care workers at the top of the list.
Walmart is also reserving appointments, setting aside at least 10,000 weekly doses for seniors.
The scheduling of select COVID-19 vaccine appointments at Rite Aid will be available exclusively to qualifying educators, school staff and licensed childcare program staff on Friday, March 19, Saturday, March 20, Friday, March 26, and Saturday, March 27. Appointments can be made HERE.
