New Jersey residents try to squeeze in a beach day at the Jersey Shore during their last days of summer.
There is a yellow flag on the beach, warning people to take caution when they are in the water because of dangerous conditions.
As the day progresses, lifeguards say they expect the wind to change directions and die down.
Especially with Hurricane Dorian in the Atlantic, safety managers are on the shore to take notice of any changes.
It is too early to know how or if the major storm will impact New Jersey, but this weekend it is still safe to swim at the beach.
