After breaking up a major crime ring, police are stepping up control at a notorious apartment complex in Newark. Officers are watching who comes and goes and blocking off streets leading into the Pennington Court housing complex. The complex was the site of a major drug bust last week, when police arrested 15 alleged heroin dealers known as the Grape Street Crips. City leaders attended a community meeting Wednesday to listen to residents? concerns about the stepped up patrol. Newark's police director says his force will stay until the job is done, no matter how long it takes.
