Crews were out working to fix a water main break in Maplewood.
The break happened around 12 a.m. Sunday on Oakland Road.
According to New Jersey American Water, about 100 customers were impacted.
"The whole driveway was torn up and at that point there was water pouring down the street," says resident Bernice Kelly. "It was like a waterfall."
The town's pool also had to be closed Sunday due to the incident.
A boil water advisory has not been issued.
