Crews are working to keep roadways safe as snow and rain sweep across parts of New Jersey.
Snow started early in Morris County as part of a storm system hitting the tri-state area Sunday.
“We do expect there may be some slippery road conditions as a result of the weather with some sleet and freezing rain,” says Morris County Office of Emergency Management Jeffrey Paul.
Paul says the state may get half an inch of rain with some snow in specific regions.
Roads are being salted to limit accidents as icy conditions are expected during and after the storm.
