Ringwood fire injures multiple people, leaves 1 person unaccounted for

A fire destroyed a home and injured at least three people today in Ringwood, according to family members.
Initial reports came in just before 5 a.m. that the home on Peters Mine Road was fully engulfed. Smoke poured from every level as firefighters worked at the scene for hours.
The home was left completely charred and destroyed. Demolition crews arrived around 9 a.m. to tear down what remained of the structure.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Family members say three people were taken to the hospital, and the American Red Cross says it is assisting eight people from the home. Family members also say one person is still unaccounted for.
