Crews are on the scene of a house fire on Peters Mine Road in Ringwood this morning, according to officials.

The home has heavy damage to the entire structure.

At least one person has been taken to the hospital, but there is no official word yet on injuries.

Police have blocked off the street and are asking people to avoid the area.
